LUSH

Hiya everyone! Hope you are all fabulous and enjoying some lovely spring weather!
I have become slightly addicted to LUSH Cosmetics. I LOVE them so much. Everything is vegan and handmade with fresh ingredients you can actually pronounce. All their products smell delicious.

The first purchase I made I only purchased one item, and that was the H'Suan Wen Hua Super Nutritious hair mask. It was awesome! My hair felt amazing and it smelt so fresh. It's made with fresh avocados, eggs, bay leaves, cinnamon and so many other delightful ingredients.

After that, I was hooked! I recently received my second little shipment and was doubly excited because I finally got some of their ever famous Bath Bombs.

I am in love! I bought two, and I also purchased one of their soaps, one called God Mother. It honestly smells like a giant Swedish Berry candy! Yum! I love sweet, sugary smelling scents so I was hooked.

The first bath bomb I tried was the Butter Ball.

Our vanilla-scented Bath Bomb is anything but boring when you lay back into a cozy white blanket of creamy, buttery froth. This little fizzer is the ultimate in comfort with chunks of creamy cocoa butter; it’s fantastic for rehydrating dry skin. Baths can dry your skin if they’re too hot, so if you’re in need of a long, lingering bath pop one of these gorgeous beauties into the tub for a vanilla custard soak to lull you into a deep relaxed state – and leave with sweeter, softer skin.

I just dropped this into the bath and immediately it started fizzing and my little bathroom was filled with an amazing aroma of vanilla and custard. Ugh I could not wait to get in. Once in the bath I was completely smitten. The scent was so soothing and relaxing, and my skin was feeling so soft. Not greasy as some might think since there are chunks of cocoa butter throughout.

The next bath bomb that I have yet to try but figured I would talk about any way is the Sex Bomb!

What’s in a name? When it comes to the Sex Bomb we take the moniker seriously. A must for any romantic bath, our world famous sphere of sex appeal contains all of Nature’s most potent and seductive ingredients to get you in the mood for a good… bath. Scintillating jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang are powerful aphrodisiacs that are known to relax you as they warm your heart, and other body parts too. Soya milk makes the water milky, softening your entire body as you enjoy a luxurious soak with our best-selling Bath Bomb. Consider yourself warned.

This thing is HUGE! Pardon the inuendo there ha ha! It is so lovely and smells divine. It has a gorgeous flowery sexy aroma. I seriously cannot wait to try this baby out. It smells so delicious.

And the soap. Finally this super girly, sweet decadent soap. I love this so much, but I find it difficult to use everyday it is just so sweet!

We know some of you out there use dish soap to wash your hands. Consider this bar of pink, candy sweetness your hand washing fairy godmother and make the switch! Much gentler than the stuff by the sink; our Godmother will charm and enchant your entire body with the famous Snow Fairy scent of bubble gum and candy floss. Our loyal fans and customers wanted a soap that smelled like our famous Snow Fairy shower gel, and we just couldn't say no. Care for your skin and satisfy your sweet tooth all in one wash!

This soap lathers nicely and isn't drying at all. The scent of sweet candy lingers on your skin for a few hours. I will likely just use this if I've had a rough day or if I am really craving something sweet!

The next few things I'd like to show you are the other items that are on their merry way to me! My bathbomb basket is ready and waiting!

If your love life is stalled, you need a touch of magic. Based on a spell used to stir the passions, Tisty Tosty is our love potion made with the scent of precious rose and orris root. The flower of love, rose perfume is said to ease tension and give people happy, positive feelings (just like falling in love). It’s also good for dry or rough skin so you can improve your skin as well as your love life in just one bath. Already in love? Invite them into your clutches and a warm bath.

Inspired by the delightful Audrey Hepburn, Pink is sophisticated, sexy, elegant, and witty. Fragranced with edgy tonka bean, neroli, and the sweetness of vanilla absolute, it turns baths into candy-scented fantasies with a fragrance that lingers on your skin long after you’re out of the bath. It's sweet, but not overbearingly so, with a subtle bite of something cheeky. Spoil yourself; instead of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, have an indulgent bath with Pink.

If you've ever read the LUSH We Believe statement on our bags or here on our website, you may remember the bit that says, "We believe in the right to make mistakes, lose everything and start again." This Bath Bomb is a tribute to our belief that great things can rise out of the ashes, just like the mythical Phoenix. Royal purple and gold-dusted, with a cinnamon stick in the center, this gorgeous bomb sinks to the bottom of the tub when you toss it in, and slowly rises up, fizzing out a spicy apple and cinnamon scent.

Our number one, best-selling product of all time, Dream Cream contains every ingredient nature makes for soothing sore skin. One of our proudest product achievements ever, we love this body lotion because it makes people happy. It transforms suffering bodies into states of peace with our calming blend of oat milk, lavender and chamomile to care for irritations, reduce redness, and banish blotches. Olive oil and cocoa butter are perfectly suited and incredibly effective for dry or chapped skin, and especially gentle for even the most sensitive types. Do your skin a favor, treat it right with Dream Cream.

The most subtle of our hennas; choose Caca Brun for sleek, beautiful hair with rich, dark brown tones. Brunettes can use Caca Brun for its fantastic conditioning and shine inducing properties without seeing a drastic change to their natural color. We’ve added nettles for added shine and to keep your scalp in tip top condition too. Because henna coats each individual hair, smoothing the cuticles and protecting it from damage, it’s the ultimate conditioning treatment. Hennaed hair is strong, glossy and absolutely gorgeous.

Now this I am really excited for! Their henna hair dye! I am going to slowly bring my hair to a gorgeous dark brown colour instead of black, and I really don't want to use harsh dyes.

Mmm... there's nothing more comforting than the fragrance of hot coconut milk and the slightly spicy blend of orange and patchouli oils. The fluffy bubbles envelop you like a cozy blanket, wrapping you up nice and warm and sending you off to bed with a big hug and a huge smile on your face. Soak in Hot Milk's warm waters, then slip into your favorite jammies and fall into your fluffy bed. Repeat nightly.
With blasts of sparkles and refreshing grapefruit oil, Space Girl is a Bath Bomb of astronomical proportions. You’ll be ready to explore the cosmos (bath time) in a trail of purple stardust. We put real popping candies into each one to add some pop to our signature fizz. Shaped like Saturn, the energizing scent of blackcurrant candies will make you hungry for your own space adventures as you soak away in the tub. It’s really out of this world.

Glitter, sparkles, and black currant scent! Oh yes please
If you’re looking to rewire your little one’s energy panel so you both can get some sleep, draw them a warm bath instead of warming up milk. A modern 21st century invention, Ickle Baby Bot has been designed to mesmerize the senses with ray guns of lavender, chamomile, and sandalwood. These sleep-inducing essential oils are nature’s cure for insomnia and calming restless babes. One soak with our relaxing Bath Bomb and they’ll be happily dreaming of sheep (and Little Bo Peep) in no time. Having trouble computing yourself? You wouldn’t be the first to sneak in a ‘bot bath…

This solid toothpaste is a refreshing and seductively sweet blend of Earl Grey, lime and aphrodisiac jasmine. Don’t forget to bring one of these beauties on your next date; they’re perfect for freshening up before smooching. Sneak away to the restroom just before your goodbye for a quick brush with aphrodisiac oils- sure to increase your chances of a goodnight kiss! We add mineral-rich seaweed powder to Aquatic because it’s loaded with calcium, which is great for keeping teeth strong.

Now these look awesome! The flavour I am picking has Earl Grey, Lime and jasmine! For your teeth! I think that it is just awesome, and I am so looking forward to trying them!
Inspired by the unusual Japanese fruit the yuzu (kind of like a Satsuma orange), this Bubbleroon has a delectable orange chocolate fragrance, with exotic tropical undertones and an uplifting grapefruit top note. It makes mountains of fluffy white bubbles and the most sublimely soft bath water you’ve ever had. With Extra Virgin coconut oil and Fair Trade Shea Butter (like all of our Bubbleroons) Yuzo and Cocoa is the crème de la crème of chocolatey, moisturizing, and soothing baths.
Massage our Buffy body butter all over your wet skin in the bath or shower to make you softer and smooth to the touch, paying special attention to your backside. We add ground rice, almonds and beans to Buffy to act as exfoliants; the rough textures eliminate lumps and bumps and sloughs away dry skin cells to reveal brighter, fresher looking skin. Rinse off the exfoliating bits and pat yourself dry. There's no need for body lotion after a Buffy slaying session, because the cocoa and shea butters keep your skin beautifully smooth, moisturized and soft to the touch.
Our sweetest shower jelly is also our best-seller! Between the fruity fragrance, the iridescent glitter that leaves a sparkle on your skin, and the seaweed base that leaves your skin softened and refreshed, it’s irresistible. And while we know our blackcurrant and sour cherry wobbler smells good enough to eat, we recommend you curb your cravings and hop in the shower and wash with Sweetie Pie instead. Smooth it all over your body (and your hair too!) for a sweet yet sophisticated cleansing experience.

I can't even describe how thrilled I am with these products. I can't wait for the rest of them! And don't you worry, I will be doing full reviews of each of the products with my own opinion as I use them!

Hope you all have a wonderful night, and have sweet dreams of LUSH products! LOL jk.

And remember....

You Are Beautiful!

How To Fall Inlove With Yourself

Stand naked in front of a mirror for a long time, under unflattering light if possible. Trace the rises and falls of the little ripples on your skin — the scars, the dimples, the cellulite — and think about how much you try to hide these things in your day-to-day. Wonder why you hate them so much, and if this hate stems from somewhere within yourself, or as a result of being told all your life that it’s wrong to have physical flaws. Wonder what you would think of your body if you never looked at a magazine, if you never thought about celebrities and models, if you never had to wonder where someone would rate you on a scale of 10. Look at yourself until the initial recoil softens, and you can consider your features in a more forgiving frame of mind.

Listen to the music which makes you want to both sob and dance with uninhibited joy, and allow yourself to repeat any song you want as many times as your heart desires. Think of the person you are when you have your favorite song in your headphones and are walking down a street you feel you own completely, swaying your hips and smiling for no good reason — remember how many things you love about yourself during those moments, how much you are willing to forgive in yourself, how confident you are for no good reason. Try to think of confidence as a gift you give yourself when you need it, instead of something you have to siphon from every unreliable source in your life. Dance because the music makes you remember how much you love yourself, not because it allows you to forget the fact that you don’t.

Write a list of all the things you like about yourself, even if you think it’s a self-indulgent and narcissistic activity. Start as early as you like in your life — put down that time you won a trophy playing little league soccer when you were eight and then got an extra-large shake at the DQ on the way home, and don’t feel silly for remembering it. Try to understand how many sources in your life happiness can come from, how many things you could be proud of if you chose to. Ask yourself why you so tightly limit the things you take pride in, why you set your own hurdles for happiness and fulfillment so much higher than you do with anyone else in your life. Let your list go on for pages and pages if you want it to.

Touch and care for yourself with the attention and the patience that you would someone you loved more than life itself. Rub lotion in small circles on your elbows and hands when it is cold and your skin is dry and cracked. Make soup for yourself when your nose is running and curl up, with your favorite movie, in a pile of expertly-stacked pillows. Light a few candles and let their glow flicker against your body. Admire how gentle they are, how delicately their warmth touches you — wonder why you don’t let yourself do the same. Soak your feet in warm water at the end of a long day, until they have forgiven you for walking on them for so long without so much as a ‘thank you.’ Listen to your body when it aches to be touched, and don’t be afraid to give it every orgasm that you may have been too ashamed to ask for in someone else’s bed.

Be patient with yourself, and don’t worry if a switch doesn’t flip in you which abruptly takes you from ‘crippling self-doubt’ to ‘uncompromising self-love.’ Allow yourself all the trepidation and clumsy, uneven infatuation that you would with a promising stranger. Try only to be kinder, to be softer, and to remember all of the things within you which are worth loving. Listen to the voice in the back of your head which tells you, as much out of sadness as anger, ‘You are ugly. You are stupid. You are boring.’ Give it the fleeting moment of attention it so craves, and then remind it, ‘Even if that were true, I’d still be worth loving.’

OOTD: Shopping and Forever21+

So today has been absolutely 100% fabulous! I am still on a natural high.
I am actually to ecstatic over today, and it's not even my birthday anymore!
So, this morning my Forever21+ stuff came and OH MY GOODNESS I am so thrilled. Everything is so perfect and so beautiful. And every single item fits perfectly! I am very happy with their customer service and the speed of the delivery.

So today, me and Kyle went shopping and I wore one of my new outfits. We had a great day!
We got our weekly fill of comics from Big B Comics, and Kyle bought me a great Wonder Woman figure. Then it was off to the mall for some well deserved Retail Therapy. First stop; The Disney Store! My second favourite store. I bought myself a big stuffed Dumbo because I absolutely love him. He is my favourite Disney character that isn't a princess (Snow White).

Second stop; HMV. I bought the second season of The Game of Thrones. I can't wait to watch it!
I am seriously loving today!

Third stop today was at SEPHORA! My love, my heaven. I was so so sooo tempted to finally buy the Naked Palette 2 but behaved and only restocked my Primer Potion (UD).

Then last but certainly not least we went to....
ADDITION ELLE!
Oh my I had such a good time in there. I had received two gift cards for my birthday and used them well! I got a gorgeous magenta peplum blouse with a black sequined pencil skirt, 3 pairs of panties, a gorgeous faux snakeskin watch, an awesome pink necklace and a gorgeous flower ring.
And, I learned that the store is hiring so, round two in regards to applying there. I would absolutely love a career there! And the girls there were absolutely amazing! I was given 40% off the most expensive item which was awesome!

Now, on to the Outfit!
Both the jacket and dress are from Forever21+.

Destroyed Denim Jacket $32
Striped Dress w. Belt $21

Watch- Addition Elle $20
Ring- Addition Elle 2/$22

Well there you have it for today! It was such an amazing day.

SWAK Curvy Kitten

Well long time no talk beauties. Sorry for completely neglecting my blog. I actually really miss writing. But I am trying to build up my clothing fund and lately that is impossible! Working a crappy part time retail job is just not cutting it haha!

I am determined to get a better job more than anything. So, until then all I can do is lust after adorable, beautiful clothes.

So, that is why I have not been posting any new photos of new outfits. But as soon as I start getting new stuff new blogs will be posted... PROMISE!

And Sealed With a Kiss SWAK had to come out with the most adorable, retro inspired line I have ever seen. Making me want like 4 or 5 different pieces. Argh! It's infuriating.. The thought of not having any extra spending... Makes a shopaholic go insane!!

If you haven't checked it out yet visit the website and check out the amazing line. Oh and the other awesome things they have.

So to give you a taste of what they have... Here we go!

oh! and if any of you feel generous enough to buy me one of these I will love you forever LOL

Leopard Print Jean Tulip Skirt $59
Lana Top in Black $39

Maggie Crinoline Dress $129

Nellie Halter Dress- Pink Cherry $109

Well ladies... I hope you get a chance to check out the amazing items on SWAK. I know they are a little pricey but the quality is there and honestly, us curvy girls know how hard it is to find beautifl things to wear, so when I find something I love, I will have no issue spending a little more.. Of course... If I had extra cash haha.

And Remember...

You Are Beautiful!

Drop Dead Diva

So I have been wanting to talk to you all or maybe even introduce you to my favourite show ever! Well besides True Blood.. That Joe Manganiello is one sexy man!

Wow... getting a little off topic there...

Oh my... Moving on...

So, back to Drop Dead Diva!
Drop Dead Diva is about a bubbly, fun, thin and beautifully blonde bombshell model who is killed in a brutal car accident. Her soul is sent to Heaven were she meets her guardian angel Fred. Unfortunately for Deb (model), due to her awful shallow and stuck up personality is not allowed to enter Heaven yet. She frantically tries to get back to her body but pushes a button that sends her soul into the body of the super brainy, successful lawyer Jane. Who also happens to be about six sizes larger than Deb!
Ad just before all of this with Deb.. Jane had been shot at work!
YIKES!
So there is tons of excitement, love and drama!

But what I like most about the show is just how amazing a role model Brooke Elliot (Jane) is! She is a big girl who works it in the courtroom, has amazing style and confidence out the wazoo!

So ladies.. Check it out! It's an awesome show. Definitely a nice, light and breezy change to all the super serious and bloody law/courtroom television shows are.
Catch the first three seasons on Netflix or on DVD!

You wont be disappointed!
