Try This! It's Delish!

So you know that recipe for the Brie/Raspberry and honey panini I told you all I would write about? Well here it is!

If you like warm, sweet, gooey, cheesy goodness then keep reading! I promise you this is so delicious and so easy to make. If you are worried that you have never tried Brie cheese before well... Until now I had never tried it either. But it is so GOOD!

So, here we go.

All you need is a hot pan, beautiful crusty French/Italian bread, Brie, raspberries, honey and a little bit of butter.

Turn on your stove to just above medium and let the pan heat up while you prepare the rest.

Butter one side of each slice of bread like you would a grilled cheese (which this basically is just really fancy grilled cheese). Slice the Brie and thin or as thick as you would like. Next add as many juicy raspberries as you would like and drizzle or pour (which I did... I love honey lol) the honey on top. Place the other slice of bread butter side up and place in your pan. Wait a few minutes until the bottom is golden brown and crispy. Flip and do the same on the other side.

Put it on your plate, cut it in half and VOILA!
Delicious, gooey and sweet!

Hope you enjoy! See you all soon!

My Wishes This Christmas

Well beauties, it is almost here.. Christmas! And to be completely honest I am not at all excited for it.. Not even a little... Way to much has happened this year and I just can't get into the Christmas Spirit..

Of course I have wishes this year that are materialistic.. I would love a beautiful new wardrobe, some new shoes, jewelry. Basically what every girl want.

But my wish for this Christmas and the new year is happiness and love. For not only myself but my family. I want to be completely 100% happy with myself, mind and body. I want to be happy with my life and not worry so much about what others have to say.

I wish for happiness and peace for my family. And strength to help us carry on with this tremendous heartache and pain we are feeling right now. That we pull together, not be pushed apart.

Maybe I will feel different Christmas Day, but i don't know. Anyhoo, I really hope you all have an amazing Christmas, or Hanukkah, or whatever it is you and your family celebrate. Spend this time with your loved ones and really appreciate their company. Life is much to short not too... Trust me.

My next blog beauties should be soon. Tomorrow actually lol, granted the world hasn't ended or there aren't zombies running (or shuffling, whatever these zombies do). I am going to share my thoughts on a recipe I stole from Killer Kurves. It is a delicious Panini made with Brie, Raspberries and warm honey.. YUM!

And of course, after Christmas I will finally show myself as I will have some awesome new outfits to show you all. I seriously need to show my face on here more.. Now that I think about it.. Maybe I should do a video blog? We'll see.

Bye Beauties, Until next time!

Addition Elle&Penningtons & More

Okay ladies, lets have a little chat about plus-sized retailers and fashions. I honestly feel like it has been given a far worse reputation than is necessary.

And yes I will agree that in the beginning they weren't all that trendy, or flattering.. Mostly black... Blah, not cute.

But fear not ladies! There has been a revolution is plus sized fashions so there is absolutely no excuse for not being big and fabulous.

My favourite shop has got to be hands down Addition Elle. The clothes are TO DIE FOR! Honestly I could not believe my eyes. I will be honest though, it is a bit pricey.. But it literally is worth every penny. The fashions there are gorgeous, trendy, bright and colourful.

But what it lacks is younger people working in the stores. The word needs to get out that Addition Elle and Penningtons is not just for older ladies now. They need young, fresh faces, to give the stores a much more vibrant and youthful feel.

I honestly feel so beautiful and fabulous trying on all those outfits. And everyone telling me how awesome In looked was so encouraging.

So seriously ladies! Curvy girls, I'm talking to you. Go check it out! Find your closest stores, get your VIP card and get shopping and looking fabulous. You will look and feel amazing, I promise you!

And Remember Ladies
You are BEAUTIFUL!

Oh and check back tomorrow for a new post!

Body Love... and Fashion

Hello Beauties!
Sorry I haven't blogged at all the last few days. Hope you are all doing well and getting all ready for the Holiday Season! I honestly cannot believe that Christmas is almost here!
I went shopping at Addition Elle the other day and they were already putting out swimwear and spring fashions! Can you believe it! I suppose it acts as a nice reminder that the cold and snow doesn't last forever.

Anyhoo, a few days ago I had a lovely lunch with my Nan and Mum. It was really quite nice and always amazing to spend time with the two of them. After our lunch we headed over to my nearest Addition Elle store which takes up half the store and Pennington's is on the other half. I had the most amazing time there. Crazy I know.. But I had never felt so good and beautiful before. I spent literally an hour, maybe even more trying on all these different beautiful outfits. Everything I put on fit me perfectly and the girls there were awesome. They just kept bringing me new outfits to try on, even had me walk around the store so other shoppers and employees could see. I felt like a model! It is such an incredible feeling when you put on clothes that instantly make you feel good.

I really feel like girls my age need to realize that just because they can squeeze themselves into a pair of jeans does NOT mean that they fit. And it sure as hell is not a good look. But honestly wearing clothes that fit your body, even if you have to wear a bigger size than you would like is so much better than squeezing yourself into something that is neither flattering, nor comfortable. Be honest with yourself. You have to learn to be happy with the body you're in. And take it from me, is not an easy thing to do. It has taken me years to be were I am today. But I am me.. Curvy, thick, big bummed me. And I have never been happier or felt more comfortable being me.

So what if I am bigger than ALL the girls in my family..
So what if I would much rather be a plus sized model than a Victoria's Secret model..
So what if I would rather have a burger and fries or beer and wings than a salad with 'dressing on the side' and water LOL.
Sorry I like food.
And it's not that I don't like to eat healthy and take care of myself. But I will NEVER turn down a cupcake!

So anyways, after all of that I only left with ONE pair of jeans.... And I can't even have them until Christmas! LOL
I might just take my resume in and see what happens. I would love, love love to work there and get the word out about all the beautiful clothes they have.

I promise when I start building my new fabulous wardrobe I will take pictures of everything!

Anyway beauties, that is all for tonight.. I will have another blog up tomorrow!
